A diptych of discarded circular objects, a cracked hubcap and a weathered pie pan, contrasting industrial decay with sculptural abstraction.

In my walks around my neighborhood of the East Village in NYC, there are always interesting things to find on the street. These objects have extra interest due to their ephemeral nature, meaning the next time one walks by they will likely be gone. Here I've chosen two round things, silver in color, that also repeat spoke-like lines. They are overall smooth in surface and have a central round area before the spokes begin. Both are in various states of decay and have subtle changes in color. I love the chunks missing from the hubcap and the bent edges of the pie pan. These were photographed only a month apart.

Print Info

Just the Print:  Archival pigment print (giclée) on a heavy weight fine-art matte paper.  Paper used is the industry standard, Hahnemühle Photo Rag.

Acrylic: Print is face-mounted to 1/8" thick digital grade acrylic and rear-mounted to dibond, having a float aluminum cleat subframe. Ready to hang.

Framing is available upon request.
