A high-contrast diptych deconstructing street markings into fragmented black-and-white typography over a vivid red background.

This image is the most literal of the 'Seeing Red' series, in that it shows (at least some of) the actual lettering of the bus lane, here saying 'Only Truck' (I guess the 'S' didn't fit!). This was painted 9 months before the bicycle track images. The faint overlay of red on the right edge of the 'K' is likely from automobile (or shall we say bus or truck) tires, unless someone screwed up with the red paint. It makes for a nice detail. This is new red paint on top of older worn white lettering (and white traffic lines). This piece is the only one where light is an element; there is a glow to the upper right corner.

Again texture is a major theme as well as our starring color of red.

Just the Print:  Archival pigment print (giclée) on a heavy weight fine-art matte paper.  Paper used is the industry standard, Hahnemühle Photo Rag.

Acrylic: Print is face-mounted flush to 1/8" thick digital grade acrylic and rear-mounted to dibond, having a float aluminum cleat subframe. Ready to hang.

Multi-Panel Acrylic: Two prints face-mounted flush to 1/4" thick digital grade acrylic with a diamond polished edge and rear-mounted to dibond, having a float aluminum cleat subframe. Ready to hang. Mostly for commercial use.

Framing is available upon request.
