Collection: Holgaramas: Urban

A 'Holgarama' is an overlapping multiple-exposure photograph made with a Holga, a plastic medium-format film camera. The panoramic images are created by partially advancing the film between exposures, so that a single finished work typically spans half a roll. The negatives are scanned and refined in Photoshop, though the underlying composition is drawn directly from the film. Final prints are mounted on paper sandwiched between dibond (an aluminum substrate) and acrylic. This collection focuses on urban subjects, drawn primarily from New York City; aspect ratios are either 1:6 or 1:7.
