Collection: Seeing Red (trade)
This series takes red as its organizing subject — a color made newly abundant on New York City streets with the installation of dedicated bus lanes painted directly onto the pavement. Most images document the process of painting those lanes, capturing the raw geometry of fresh pigment on asphalt. A selection of additional ground surfaces carrying the same hue extends the palette. The work belongs to a broader ongoing series of objects and surfaces found on the ground.
