Part of an ongoing series on the subject of people in motion, these images were made at busy street corners across New York City using a low vantage point — camera close to the ground on a small tripod, capturing pedestrians mid-stride. Unlike the broader walking series, these works are long exposures made at night and rendered in color, transforming passing figures into streaks of light and movement against the darkened pavement.
